3 Tutorials on Image Compression

Hi all,

I’ve been away for a week to the stunningly beautiful Skye (more on that another time) so I thought I’d update you on a few of my tutorials that were published while I was away. They are:

JPEG Compression on Facebook – ever posted a picture on Facebook to find it looks horrendous? Yep, we’ve all been there. Well this tutorial covers best practices for getting a good looking, quality image.

JPEG Compression on Twitter – like the above. Twitter may not seem so bad but header photos in particular often look awful – not good for anyone but particularly if you’re a photographer.

Save For Web in Photoshop – How to get a ‘better’ compressed picture by using Save For Web. This can really help you take control over compression and not compromise too much on quality.

Hope you find these useful, the Facebook one in particular seems to have been hugely popular as many photographers (amateur and professional) use it to display their pictures and it’s really important to display them in the best way possible.
